ALL CLASSES MEET AT GC GYMNASTICS 1609 VFW Road
Recreation Dept. Classes - 

Kinder-gym is  great place to start!!  Children ages 3 - 5 learn to run, jump, roll, balnce, hop, skip, and begin workin on gymnastic skills.  This is a 30 minute class that meets once a week.  Enroll in this class at the Recreation Department.  Check the summer / fall schedule for times and cost. 

Beginner-gym - Gymnasts that are physically ready for more time in they gym.  This class meets for 45 minutes once a week.  Enrollment is through the Garden City Recreation Department.  Gymnastic skills are introduced, cartwheels, backbends, flexibility, running, jumping, as well as bars, beam, vault and floor.

GC Gymnastic Classes -

Momm or (Daddy) and me - a 45 minute class for children 18 months to 3 years that are accompanied by a parent.  Children will play and learn coordination and movement activities.  Instructor Ross Rufenacht

Morning Tumble Tots - Children 3 and 4 years old that would like to attend a morning gym class.  Children will learn basic tumbling, coordination and body movement.  This 45 minute class is taught by Ross Rufenacht.


Recreation - This is a one hour class that meets once a week.  Gymnasts that are ready to begin progressing through skill levels, conditioning, flexibility, tumbling and all around gymnastics.  Cost is $40 per month. Enroll in this class at GC Gymnastics.

Pre-Team - Gymnasts that think they will compete or would like to go to "fun" or "unsanctioned" meets.  These gymnasts will progress through the competition levels of gymnastics.  However, they do not attend TEAM night and do not have to register with AAU to compete at "fun" meets.  The cost for pre-team is also less expensive than the competitive team.  Gymnasts that are at level 2 and 3 should enroll in one - 2 hour class.  Upper levesl should attend at least 2 - two hour classes.  

Team level 2 and 3 - Gymnasts can register and compete at all sanctioned and unsanctioned AAU meets.  These are gymnasts that are begining competiton.  Gymnasts will need to attend TEAM class and one other additional class is recommended.

Team level 4 and up - Gymnasts can register and compete at all sanctioned and unsanctioned AAU meets.  These are gymnasts that are competing on team at the upper levels.  Gymnasts will need to attend TEAM class and two other classes are recommended.
